| Description | The overall shape of this manacle is a lion. It holds a captive in its mouth. There is a rectangular opening to slide captive's hands in, and there is a hole on the lion's back to insert a wooden peg to secure the captive's hands. The manacle with an elaborate carving was probably used for ritual ceremonies. |
